ABOUT WORK GROUPS
Energy Traders Association (ETD) works on topics, that will be beneficial for not only its own members but also overall Turkish energy industry and economy, since its foundation. In this context, we conduct studies towards targetted criteria such as transparency, fair competition, increasing the liquidity and depth of energy market, and establishing trade conditions which has international standards. As well as determining problems, we consider to develop solution proposals, to share these proposals with all related market stakeholders and to project joint studies with correct parties.
ETD carries on all these studies through work groups, that are established and continues thanks to great altruism and care of our members. Work groups are formed according to trading and retail sales issues, which are regarded as main segments of power and gas trading field. In addition to being open to participation of all ETD members, the work groups are being empowered by contribution of other public or private stakeholders of the sector both in terms of attendance and joint task force groups when needed and is possible.
ETD Work Groups can be reshaped and classified in accordance with the necessities of members and progress of the market from term to term. Current four work groups are as follows:
